Telugu film land, we can typically tell home of romantic love stories where no other language has produced such a qualitative romantic movies, here it’s another one with bunch of love, disappoint, expectations at the same time unexpected things, journey, sentiment , friends above all sharp dialogues.Story start with Gowtham (Nani) gets kidnapped by John (Aashish Vidyardhi) and on the way nani starts his flashback for time pass. His first love with Simran (Kriti Karbandha) but fails to express it and she marries Sagar. Philosophy” if you want to forget something, you need to get some other thing” Gowtham gets introduced to Nitya (Nitya Menon) in that marriage. Nitya’s is the same case as that of Gowtam’s. She loves Sagar but doesn’t express it to him. Nitya and Gowtham became good friends and had good times in Bangalore as well as in Hyderabad. They get engaged to Dileep and Kavya (Sneha Ullal) respectively!. Will they love each other? , express their love? Key highlights of the movie is its dialogue, Nani has done his best in delivering them but need to update his expressions are looking same for almost two hours, concentrating on that area will keep him as college hero, being a cool guy accepting everything as it is and telling himself as gay you can treat him as a next door boy. Nitya Menon is the new gift to telugu cinema. What a talent she has. I will tell you she is number one hero of the film who as has easily pulled this film off all by her own. Key point is she dubbed for her character (involves 90% English +telugu language) which is a major plus. Her emotions, conveying through eyes, playing a buddy character on road all makes you to feel like having a girl friend like, sorry Nithya !. If she maintains same discipline surely get good output in future. People are fed up by seeing same heroines from past 4-5 years its time to take the ride by new girls on the floor.Nandini Reddy throws few surprises towards the end when we expect the film to end on a routine rather takes to different curves, Once Nithya asks her father due to there misunderstandings that why cant you take divorce and can be live happily, his father replies politely…. Your generation is like this, if you get something not working simply finds some alternative or new one, mobile, laptop … you are nowhere interested in repairing. now you are confusing and applying the same thing to life and to love. Gaganam - You can fly
Radha Mohan back with his favorite Prakash raj and team with new trend after aakashamanthe, Instead of rounding the tree for lover, putting some masala and comedy to show heroism, taken a different story , off course this is not a new one but definitely new for telugu audience, released in both telugu and in tamil. Nagarjuna who is celebrating his 25th year in film land acted without attaching to image after flop show of ragada.
Story starts with different kinds of people with different problems take flight to Delhi from Chennai unfortunately there problem increases after it is hijacked by terrorists and they want to take it to Rawalpindi.
However, an engine failure forces them to land the aircraft in Tirupathi. The defense ministry gets alerted and in comes home secretary Vishwanath (Prakashraj) along with higher officials to know the demands of the hijackers.
As soon as he reached tirupathi to take control of the issue and cal Major Ravindra(Nagarjuna) for assistance.The demand is for the release of terrorist Yousuf Khan or else the hundred passengers in aircraft will be killed.
After so many dramas on the table, cal, cabinet central government decides to release the terror. But Where is commandos Operation which will break the dreams of terror, No one willing to take risk except Nagarjuna, but he don’t have power to operate. Necessity of commandos operation require when Yousuf Khan died while transporting from Jammu. How about the operation will they succeed in saving hundreds of lives watch it on big screen
Most of the scenes were taken place inside the flight and in the conference room. Director has dedicated so much to keep the audience for the first half with comedy, sentimental and somewhat lovely scenes but as soon as second half starts its all about planning, panning and implementation.
If you went with expectation of action scenes, you will be paid because most of the action scenes which is supposed to be happen will be planned around the table hence it lacks expected action but still hold u for 2 hrs without boring. Special marks to the discussion between a kid and one of the terror which makes lots of sense same time you can enjoy the comedy by so called telugu hero and his fan, All supporting actors played good role.
Coming back to two big bosses Nagarjuna and Prakash Raj, Nagarjuna who played so many roles from Siva to Annamayya, Geetanjali to Manmathudu, criminal to Mass done another experiment without heroin, songs , serious comedy Suits to the character and his body language perfectly suits to commando. Once he will tell to his higher officer that … you are just old not experienced, but yuva samrat is still young but experienced. Prakash Raj, who is considered as water which takes the shape of container like he can acquire any role and seemed to be prepared well to not to do over being a authorized person of government , Brahmi having less role less work and also less marks.
Director seemed to be compromise for the action seen, where most of the audience definitely expect thrill, action in these kind of movies unfortunately he spend most of the time in planning rather execution off course he succeeded but the thing is killing all the terrorist in fraction of seconds lacks the reality, Except that you can go for logic and director won’t lose in that.
I will give 6 out of 10
