Katari Veera Surasundarangi – logic, magic all are gimics

Going to barbeque nation hotel with full of hungriness and expectations and returning with worst dishes is the comparison I did when I was getting down on the elevators of forum mall from third floor of PVR. This year’s most controversial and off cource industries most controversial movie for so many reasons, for me it attracted for few reasons like first complete Kannada 3D movie, sequel of Rakta kanniru, upendra involved in script and dialogue. But everything vent in vein. Movie starts with Upendra wish to be a don and met with muttappa Rai and got some good message but without listening to him he attack some don and die in one such attack, then complete story shift to Yamaloka where he create conflict between yama and chitragupta, Ambi and Doddanna respectively. Starts election for the post of head of Yamaloka and campaign for chitragupta as soon as he saw Devakanye, Ramya moved to here devaloka. There turning around tree for love, fighting against villains, god’s, against Devendra father of Ramya and final get his love. Brahma will come and conclude their love by giving some test on earth. In climax story shift to earth again some drama and happy ending, this is 6 line story of the movie as I observed! Generally there are three kind of movies one without logic you have to watch and enjoy, other complete logic and nothing out of natural sequence and other type is partially will miss logic and there is a margin for those kind of errors, but some great? Movies will throughout everything and suddenly as for logic and again go back for reality finally you will end up with confusion that in which category (out of above three) we can add the movie, and KVS is one such movie. There are so many loop holes in the movie, where to start? I am getting confused. When he moved to Yamaloka he will capture video of chitragupta when he was doing some mischievous with lady and he will black mail with that, is it acceptable? When some god’s come to know that he is in love with ramya they will attack in heaven, there he will fight against like a normal people, while coming back to earth Brahma will tell that upendra will forget everything once he moved to earth, but within 5 min he will remember all the things. These are just samples, we can see poor editing as well, director has no where control over the story and screenplay , though you can feel shadow of typical Upendra ‘s movie all the way but he also fails to get pass. Dialogues which is considered as his strength failed to showcase on the screen, as mohan of Rakta kanniru get some claps but rest no catchy dialogues. Sometimes you will see unnecessary lengthy dialogues. This movie could have done in better way, since Rakta kanniru tragic hero Mohan was there in hell and upendra also moved to hell so two guys from different world, conversation, debets, defending their way of life, through some stones on tradition.. so many things with which you can keep audience on some sides, but nothing dude. Let me tell some good things at last performance wise uppi rocks, who occupies almost all the time on screen, rest all supporting ramya, Ambi, donnana, Sridhar everyone clearly walk through their paths. With respect to 3D by ignoring some draw backs full marks again, songs and music better we can mute them. Choreography is the other hero of the movie. Though Muniratna, Upendra and suresh Krishna taken a different subject and spent money like anything for such a luxurious sets failed to deliver the master piece, they should think once before releasing that they released the move on 2012 not at 1990’s.. Anna Bond : poor bonding

I will not blame anyone after watching the, whom should I blame?. My friend prasad for taking balcony tickets or for eshwari theater owner for showing the movie or punith for selecting such movie or Raaghanna for producing. But I will blame soori. Though I have not seen all punith s movie, I have seen all Soori’ s movie and this is his career’s worst movie, I got interest on kannada movies only after watching two classical mungaru male and duniya, but after seeing this it seemed to be my selection on kannada movies will be going more choosy now onwards. After block buster Jackie, I will clear that also. movie has not strong story line, because of songs and debut combination of soori, punith and rangayana raghu it worked out also movie was good technical. But here nothing is worth, your money is worth only for watching rangayana raghu on screen for his typical dialogue and most of the time voice is also not clear because of poor dubbing. Songs, yogaraj bhat continues his speaking language songs, nothing new lyrics his typical mixture songs, also nothing new in harikrishna’s music, sometimes it recalls jackie’s music. Two girls but no use, not much scope for them also to show there talents, supporting characters is included unnecessarily it seems, jacki shraf’s Kannada is very difficult to digest, instead he could have use hindi to get some realistic scenes. No strong story, no eye catching, heart touching scenes, immediate climax everything is like a moment when guys will get ready for unplanned trip. Ok fine let me give some good words to soori at last, dialogue of rangayana raghu, that to with limited edition, punith ‘s action scenes and only action scenes. Nothing much good things to say about this. This is for soori in particular “ you are technically more stronger than any current generation directors as I think, this I concluded only after watching your all earlier movies, never ever go for hero based movies which you started from last 2 movies, go for strong story, sharp dialogue, gripped direction. Finally your script and story should select the hero not the hero should start your script. I will give 5 out of 10 Jeevan M P

Rachha: Too strong

Ram Charan ‘s first Masala movie, is the combination of aadi, bunni, Dookudu, and many more. Nothing new to explain, 6 songs , 5 fights, 4 comedy scenes finally happy ending.
If you are hard core fan of Charan, can try with risk. Raccha name can be seen only on title card not on screen, I will give 4 out of 10

3 - Why this kolavery again

Why this kolavery is final out on screen, after mayakam enna Dhanush continued in same track, first time Dhanush, Ishwary and Shruthi joined together to deliver a master piece and succeeded to certain extent.
As soon Kolavery was out in music stores, there was a great expectation on the movie, if you looked at the history the movie which succeeded in its songs which will succeed in theaters as well. With her debut direction, selected husband as hero and friend as heroin, film is all about the different stages of life.
Story start with high school, love also starts parallel, continues to college and finally ends with marriage, sorry continues with it. With respect to story there is nothing new, going to flashback and returning to present more often logic has been used.
It’s all about Dhanush ‘s acting, choreography and Kolavery song, full marks to Dhanush for his typical psycho acting, his body language as a typical school boy, college boy , lover and a prompt husband. In each level he shows matured acting and tells to audience that only he can able to deliver such stunning action, on the other side Shruthi Hassan played a good next door girl character, though she concentrated more on sentimental scenes, but has a vital role. Other hero of the movie is its choreography, movie is not shooted in any foreign location or in great sceneries of nature are captured, everything is within buildings and inside city, but seemed to be no shot repeated, work on black and white color is amazing.
Some words to 3’s, Mayakam enna released 4-5 months back and people will definitely compare seconds half’s ,a s more or less both will resembles each other, in future if same kind of movies come, it will be great to release at least in span of one year. Ishwary as a debut director put some good work on screen, industry can have confidence on here future project, all the best team.

Well tried need patience to watch, I will give 6 out of 10

Jogayya - Shivanna century

The much awaited movie of the year hit the screen all over Karnataka, gimic raja Prem after two successive flops Preeti yeke bhoomi melide and Raj The show man. Booked Shivanna for his 100th movie, Shivanna also in cloud after grand success of Mailary of Chandru. Was expecting something special from Prem who has introduced the new trend in marketing movie for Jogi.
Jogayya a perfect part 2 of jogi, though the team has not revealed the thing exactly until the last minute of release, but you will really feel the continuity. No excuse if you went to movie without watching jogi.
Movi starts in Bombay where jogi after his mother’s death go to Bombay and work as a cooli in one Kannada family, there his owner daughter sumith kour fell in love, one master from Karnataka accidently saw the Jogayya in Bombay. Mean time many local rowdies leading the city with his name to collect money and keep the whole underworld with his name, later jogi has been taken back to Karnataka and presents in front of court sumith kour who fight to release jogi as he was in home from past few years and not done any mistakes, Pooja Gandhi who acted as a lawyer helps in releasing jogi. After release what will happen? Will he join the club of underworld? Will he join his lovely darling sumith? Watch out for all the answers.
First will tell about prem, who has chosen a perfect story, but to certain extent he failed to fill the llop holes, Many times he recalled the jogi scenes which helps the audience to keep in story track, every frame you can see his hard work. Frequent sentimental scenes help the movie to tell not only a roudism movie. 100 marks for first half, after his release from court he lost grip, he got confused what to do the innocent rowdy, either to push him to roudism, or try to keep away from roudism.
Shivanna, No hero is ready to get slaps and bad words from public in his hundredth movie, that to great actors who accepted such a character without showing any images, completely dedicated for acting. He suits for the character and involved in such a way that while dancing with missing child, and the scene when he enters to court for the first time is ultimate, which shows the talent of Prem and innocent acting of Shivanna as well .
Songs are good all actors are gave justice to their character, keeping some drawbacks overall movie is watchable.
I will give 7 out of 10

Badrinath – Action Thriller

Allu arjun removed his lover boy image and come up with an action packed movie. Badrinath starts on a bright note. But immediately it takes a predictable path with some poorly etched characters and scenes The take-off of the film is really interesting. But the unfolding of the story is not gripping. It is a simple love story from girl point of view with a backdrop of Badrinath temple.
Heroin has lost believing in god after losing her parents in temple and also faced life threat from relatives for marriage, her grandfather bring her to Badrinath, where she meet Banni , fell in love….. Looks like some shadows of Deshamuduru, But Prakash Raj as head of the temple decided to keep him as his successor, but again one who takes the position should be unmarried bachelor.
Will he marry Tamanna or become successor of Prakash Raj, won’t take much time to realize.
V V vinayak Started well, gives very good impression, but soon get into the old readymade , repeated formula which is the main thing need to be changed in the scripts but no one is concentrating on that, though action scenes are looks good, but consumes too much of blood. Especially after interval songs will enter like anything and checks audience patience.
Allu Arjun, man looks in new look and trained hard for action sequences, body also co operated well, can challenge to any action heroes. Tamanna should understand that 100% love is not block buster and glamorous alone never work, she also started to show so much of skin which is not required, of cource she learned lot in acting but should understand the value of glamour.
Vinayak almost ignored the comedy, and concentrated more on Action and songs, action nothing less from Allu arjun he done his best and can give full marks, music section, keeravani has done these kind of scores before background is good but we can’t tell same thing for songs, also two songs are good. Choreography is good. Good thing is that Indian holly places are selected and through this they are getting popular.
Director missed the path after 20 min of the movie, he could have done complete historical action with a small tale of love story, and rather his eyes turned towards heroin and concentrated completely on her safeguard, marriage, love. For any other directors there is excuse but not for VV like directors.

Veera – Raviteja + Masala = mass movie

Mass maharaja is back in Ramesh varma’s second movie, no logic only magic because it is Ravi teja’s movie and two hot girls to full fill complete Masala movie. After a long time I went for first day show, he never disappoints and same thing happened here. Ravi teja showed again that he is mass hero and fixed to some formula and not interested in coming out of them, moreover people accepted him in such roles, and as far as he keeps audience alive in theater it is ok.
Ravi Teja has his own style and his films have the usual Masala elements like fights and dances, but it is comedy that always stands out – particularly his chemistry with Brahmanandam, who is undoubtedly the most popular comic actor in the industry. And Ravi Teja’s fast dialogue delivery adds value to all his films.
Ravi Teja is a security officer to ACP Shyam who has some clashes with the local don, who even kidnaps his son and kill him. Shyam does not reveal the truth to his family members. The truth about the security officer, who is actually Veera, son of an MLA, is revealed in the flashback, where he is the brother of shridevi, wife of Shyam. Meanwhile, there is another don who wants to kill Shyam’s wife.
There is nothing new story in it, rather director concentrated only around Ravi teja and to his image, not bad but at the same time he should concentrate on script, which is the main drawback of the movie.
Brahmanandam tried hard to keep comedy track on line offcource he succeeded, if he failed don’t blame him its fault with director again.
You can observe now a day’s all Mass movies are contains two heroines , one country girl and another bold city girl both of them divide themselves as first half and second half and shared equally. Here both are competitively participated in glamour, but hero based film, heroines are used only during song sequential.
Go Enjoy come out, I will give 6 out of 10
